Cut and Paste: Production Blog

Welcome back everyone! We've finally gotten to the editing stage. We had to many extra shots. So we had to figure out which ones fit perfectly together. First, we got out the scene where Jack lost for the second time. Mainly because I was barely visible in the video. Second, we made a few scenes shorter. There was a lot of bulk in some clips. This video is only supposed to be a minute or so. Next were the transitions. When we filmed Sean did some with his phone itself. So for example when filming he'd start filming facing the sky and pan down. Then at the end of the shot it would go quickly down. This helped with the seamless transition. Then in CapCut we could add transitions. It made the video look more polished. Last was coloring. We wanted a filter that would bring out the colors of the sky and games. I tried a few but couldn't find one I liked. Than I tried one called Tan. It was perfect. It intensified the saturation at the perfect level. It wasn't too much where it was unrealistic but it was enough to make the video pop.
